Yaqoot Premium

Yaqoot under eye is a treatment that uses the Yaqoot Premium skin booster in the thin skin around the eyes, where dullness, dryness and shadowing often show first. The aim is to brighten, hydrate and revitalise the under-eye area rather than to fill it or change its shape. At Azura Clinic in Muscat we assess the eye area first, because the same-looking dark circle can have very different causes from one patient to the next.
What is Yaqoot Premium under eye?
Yaqoot Premium is a skin booster; an injectable preparation delivered into the skin itself in very small amounts across the treatment area. Used under the eyes, its rejuvenating formula is intended to improve the appearance of dark circles, fine lines, dryness and dullness, so the eye area looks smoother, healthier and more refreshed.
The main benefits patients notice are grouped in four ways: brightening, which helps reduce dullness and improve the look of dark circles; hydration, which restores moisture to dry, tired-looking under-eye skin; rejuvenation, which helps soften fine lines and improve texture and elasticity; and overall radiance. It is a skin-quality treatment, not a volume treatment, and results vary from person to person.
If you are interested in the same booster for the face, neck or body rather than specifically for the eye area, that is covered on our main Yaqoot skin booster page.
How the under-eye booster works on dark circles, dryness and fine lines
Dark circles are rarely one single problem. Pigment in the skin, thin skin that lets the underlying blood vessels show through, a hollow that casts a shadow, sun exposure, allergies, rubbing, poor sleep and family tendency can all play a part, and most patients have a combination.
A skin booster works on the skin layer: hydration, texture and light reflection. When the under-eye skin is dry, crepey and dull, it looks darker and shows fine lines more sharply, and improving the skin’s condition can make the whole area look fresher. What it cannot do is remove pigment that sits deep in the skin, correct a bony hollow, or eliminate a dark circle completely. Where pigment or a true tear-trough hollow is the main driver, another approach (or a combination) usually makes more sense.
Yaqoot under eye compared with tear-trough filler and other eye treatments
Tear-trough filler is placed deeper, in a specific plane, to add volume and reduce the shadow created by a hollow. A booster does not add volume and is not a substitute for it. The two answer different questions: filler addresses shape and shadow, a booster addresses skin quality, hydration and brightness.
At the clinic we also offer other eye-area options, and the right one depends on your assessment. These include under eye glowing with PDRN, under eye glowing with 4D Eye, Meso Eye Glow and laser-based tightening with Fotona SmoothEye. Some patients use a booster alongside one of these in a staged plan; your doctor will advise whether combining is appropriate and in what order.
Who is a good candidate, and who should wait
The treatment tends to suit you if your under-eye skin is dry, dull, finely lined or looks tired, if you want a subtle refresh in skin quality rather than a change in shape, and if you understand that this is a gradual, skin-level improvement. It can be used across a range of skin tones, including the deeper tones common in Oman, because it is not a light-based or peeling treatment, but any injection in pigmented skin should be done carefully and assessed individually.
You should postpone or avoid an under-eye booster if you have an active infection, inflamed skin, an active eye or eyelid condition, or a cold sore outbreak in the area. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and it is not appropriate if you have a known allergy to any component, a bleeding disorder or are on blood thinners without medical clearance. Long-standing dark circles caused mainly by bony shadowing or by an underlying medical or allergic condition need a different plan; your doctor will say so honestly at the consultation.
Your session at Azura Clinic in Muscat, step by step
We begin with an assessment of the eye area (skin quality, pigment, vascular shadowing and volume) and a review of your medical history and medications. Skin analysis may be used to document the starting point. The area is then cleansed, a topical numbing cream is usually applied, and the booster is delivered in a series of very small, superficial injections across the under-eye skin.
Most people describe the sensation as tolerable rather than comfortable; it is a sensitive area and some pricking is normal. Afterwards you will be given aftercare instructions and, when a course is appropriate, a plan for spacing your sessions. We do not quote a fixed number of sessions or a fixed timeline in advance, because that depends on your skin and on what the assessment shows.
Results, aftercare, downtime and possible side effects
Improvements in hydration and brightness build gradually and are maintained with repeat sessions; they are not permanent and they differ between patients. Expect some redness, small injection marks, mild swelling or puffiness and occasional tenderness in the first day or two. Bruising is possible under the eyes, since the skin is thin and vascular.
For the first 24 hours, keep the area clean, avoid make-up, rubbing, heat, saunas, steam and strenuous exercise, and avoid direct sun. Use sunscreen daily afterwards; sun protection matters a great deal for under-eye pigment in Muscat’s climate. Less common effects include a small nodule or lump at an injection point, prolonged swelling, an allergic reaction or, rarely, infection. Contact us if you have increasing pain, spreading redness, fever or any change in vision.
Cost and consultation in Muscat
The cost of Yaqoot under eye depends on the assessment (the condition of the skin, the area treated and whether it is combined with another eye treatment) so we confirm it for you in clinic rather than online. Pricing for the general face and body booster is listed on the main Yaqoot page.
